Kornusa Techabowornkiat has acquired a deep knowhow for over two decades as a Forensic Examiner within the Royal Thai Police. Her professional expertise primarily centers around document examination, covering a wide spectrum of specialized areas. These include methods and systems for analyzing handwriting and signatures, principles governing physical matching techniques, and the underlying philosophy of handwriting and signature comparisons.
Additionally, Kornusa is well-versed in deciphering the characteristics of traced, simulated, and disguised writing or signing, as well as conducting examinations and comparisons of mechanical products like cheque writers, photocopiers, typewriters, and various types of printers (e.g., laser, inkjet, dot matrix). She is also skilled in the restoration and decipherment of indented impressions and damaged documents, as well as the examination of altered, eradicated, and indented writing, along with ink and paper analysis.
Academically, Kornusa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. She has further enriched her educational background with two Master’s degrees, one in Forensic Science and another in MBA Finance. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, specializing in Forensic Science with a focus on ink analysis.
In addition to her impressive career and academic pursuits, Kornusa shares her knowledge and expertise as a dedicated lecturer in document examination for the Master’s Degree program in Forensic Science at Thammasat University and Mahidol University. Her commitment to education and her extensive experience make her a precious resource in the field of forensic science and document examination.
